Sensory garden

On Friday 2nd May 2008, our local MP, Vernon Coaker, came to open our new sensory garden at school.

The garden areas are in raised beds and contain a huge variety of different plants which have different features. Some have been planted because they have an interesting smell, others because they attract insects. Amid the longest of these raised beds we have a stepping-stone path and we also have a living willow tunnel and dome!
