What really is friction?
This half term, Year 3 are looking at forces and magnets. Sometimes, concepts are quite tricky for the children to learn if they don't physically do it and try it out.
We were learning all about friction (our 'Knowledge' part), and then the children went outside to investigate if different surfaces had different levels of friction, and did this affect the movement of their car toy.
We think the children were fantastic and showed great reasoning skills!
