What do you need to know? (Year 6 - 25/11/2023)

Attention all Year 6 students and parents! Get ready to travel back in time to the era of World War II with our exciting Evacuee Day!

On Thursday 14th December, our Year 6 students will immerse themselves in a full day of activities and experiences, all centered around their captivating WW2 history topic.

To make this day extra special, we encourage all Year 6 children to come dressed as a WW2 evacuee child. Don't worry if you don't have a costume yet! Get creative and visit local second-hand shops or charity shops to find the perfect pieces to match the era. Remember, it's all about embracing the spirit of the time!

To add an authentic touch, we're also asking all students to bring a WW2-inspired packed lunch on the day. Let's feast on sandwiches wrapped in brown paper, savor homemade pastries, and enjoy classic British favourites from that unforgettable era!

So, get your imagination running wild, dress up in your finest WW2 attire, and prepare for an extraordinary day of learning, adventure, and making history come alive!
