RSPB Big Schools' Birdwatch

This week the whole school became citizen scientists and took part in this national event. (Whole School - 08/02/2024)

Every year the RSPB conduct their Big Birdwatch to monitor how the population sizes of birds vary from year to year so they know what steps to take to protect them. This relies on many people, all over the country collecting and submitting data on the birds they observe in their area. Every class spent time this week surveying the birds we see at school, playing their part to help with the protection of British bird species.
