Paddling at Perlethorpe

Let's find out what Year 5 have been up to... (Year 5 - 01/05/2024)

On Monday, Year 5 travelled to the Notts Outdoor Education and Environment Centre in Perlethorpe to bring our rivers topic to life. The children took part in measuring the depth and flow of the River Meden, as well as river dipping and field sketching. In small groups they also took part in an orienteering activity around the centre and created river sculptures using natural materials such as sticks, leaves and ferns.

They represented the school admirably and we all thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Well done Year 5!
