Westdale Rocks in Year 6!

An exciting, action packed day of times tables themed activities (Year 6 - 30/01/2025)

Year 6 embraced the spirit of Westdale Rocks with many children and the teaching team all dressing up as rock stars for the day! The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in lots of times table themed activities during the day. First, Snowdon and Killimanjaro took part in a hard fought 'Battle of the Bands' against each other, with Killimanjaro narrowly coming out on top. After lunch, the children created 'Times Table Town': designing their house, making it from card and then hiding times table and division facts behind doors and windows. Alongside this, they learned a times table themed verse, written by Miss Craig, and performed it for the rest of the school in the afternoon assembly.
